Welcome to northwoodstable.com (the "Site"), operated by Beisch LLC ("Northwoods Table," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Site and any purchase you make from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Who We Are

Northwoods Table is a brand operated by Beisch LLC, offering digital guides and physical goods related to home, food, and lake-house living in Northern Wisconsin.

2. Using the Site

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to make a purchase on the Site. You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating an account, subscribing, or placing an order, and to use the Site only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

  • Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site

  • Copy, resell, or redistribute our content or products without permission

  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Site without our consent

3. Products and Purchases

Digital products: Digital guides and downloads are delivered electronically after purchase. Because digital products are delivered instantly and can be copied, all digital product sales are final — see Section 4 (Refunds) for details.

Physical products (merchandise): We aim to accurately describe and price physical products, but colors, sizing, and availability may vary slightly and are subject to change. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse any order, or cancel orders (including after confirmation) for reasons such as pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability — we'll notify you and refund any payment already made.

Pricing and payment: All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed through our third-party payment providers integrated with Squarespace (e.g., Stripe, PayPal); we do not store your full payment card details. You represent that you're authorized to use the payment method provided.

Shipping: Physical orders are shipped to the address you provide at checkout. Shipping timelines and costs are shown at checkout and are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss and title for physical products passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

Taxes: Applicable sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your location, as required by law.

4. Refunds and Returns

  • Digital products (guides, downloads): Due to the nature of digital delivery, all sales are final and non-refundable, except where required by law or where the file is defective or undeliverable — contact us and we'll make it right.

  • Physical merchandise: Returns are accepted within 10 days of delivery for unused items in original condition, unless otherwise stated. Contact us at kristin@northwoodstable.com to start a return. Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

  • If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or refund.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, recipes, photos, designs, guides, and the Northwoods Table name and logo — is owned by Beisch LLC or used with permission, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content or products without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use (e.g., following a recipe or guide you purchased).

Digital guides are licensed to you for personal use only upon purchase; you may not resell, share, or publicly redistribute them.

6. User Content

If you submit comments, reviews, photos, or other content to us (e.g., via social media, email, or the Site), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with promoting Northwoods Table, unless you tell us otherwise. You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to anything you submit.

7. Third-Party Services

The Site is built on Squarespace and may link to or integrate with third-party services (such as our newsletter platform, Substack, social media platforms, and payment processors). We aren't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services; your use of them is governed by their own terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available." Digital guides (including home renovation, painting, and cooking content) reflect our own experience and opinions; they are for informational and inspirational purposes and are not professional, safety, or engineering advice. Always use appropriate judgment, safety precautions, and, where relevant, licensed professionals for your own projects. We make no guarantees about specific results you'll achieve from following our content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beisch LLC and Northwoods Table will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Beisch LLC, Northwoods Table, and their owners harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
