We're Kristin and Jeremy. This cabin is ours, and we also run KJ Collective, a painting and design business here in the Northwoods. We've tested more sample pots than we'd like to admit. This is the shortcut we wish we'd had when we started: every brand, color name, and sheen we actually used, plus why we picked it.

FAQs

What if my paint store doesn't carry these exact colors?

1

Any paint counter can color-match from the brand and color name in the guide — ask them to match it, not eyeball it.

Is this just a list of color names?

2

No — every room has a real photo, plus the sheen and the reasoning behind the choice, not just a swatch.

How do I actually get it?

3

Instant download. Nothing ships — the PDF is yours the moment checkout finishes.

Do I need a cabin for this to be useful?

4

No. It's built from a real house, but the color pairings and sheen rules apply to any house.
